Anyone suffering from trauma—military men and women, and their families; first responders; victims of violence or abuse—as well as the mental health professionals working with them will benefit from this two-day intensive.

Note: YogaFit for Warriors intensive training hours count as an elective either for the 200­-hour or the 300­-hour training, but not both. This two­-day workshop also counts toward YogaFit for Warriors 100- and 140-hour certifications as well as YogaFit Healthcare 900-hour certification.

With a focus on “developmental trauma disorder,” a new and vastly expanded tool for understanding early childhood trauma, this special therapeutically oriented workshop centers on the unique way a child’s nervous system and brain respond to traumatic events, including chronic emotional and physical abuse and neglect. We will address somatic gaps in current therapies available and the challenges inherent in treating children suffering from PTSD.

Level Five brings together all that you’ve learned in your YogaFit 200‚Äźhour teacher training, and shifts the emphasis from external accomplishments to internal growth. Applying the powerful practice of staying in the present moment, an integral tenet of the essence of YogaFit, this two‚Äźday intensive may be the end of your official teacher training, but it’s just the beginning of your journey inward toward true integration.

Note: All participants are required to complete the Brief Strengths Test, authentichappiness.org, print individual results, and bring these results to the training.

Chronic pain affects more people worldwide than diabetes, heart disease and cancer combined, and results in sleep disturbances, fatigue, emotional stress, muscular tension and more. With a focus on “developmental trauma disorder,” a new and vastly expanded tool for understanding early childhood trauma, this special therapeutically oriented workshop centers on the unique way a child’s nervous system and brain respond to traumatic events, including chronic emotional and physical abuse and neglect. We will address somatic gaps in current therapies available and the challenges inherent in treating children suffering from PTSD.  

Note: YogaFit for WarriorKids counts as an elective for either the 200-­hour or the 300-­hour training, but not both. This two-­day workshop also counts toward YogaFit’s 100-­hour and 140­-hour YogaFit for Warriors certification; the 100-­hour YogaFit for WarriorKids certification; and YogaFit’s 900­-hour YogaFit HealthCare certification.

What should I expect at a MBF Conference?

Mind Body Fitness Conferences are 5 days of trainings held in large cities all over the US and Canada.  Each day begins with a complimentary Master Class, led by one of our dynamic YogaFit Trainers.  Trainings run from 12 pm to 8 pm on Wednesdays and 8 am to 6 pm Thursday through Sunday.  Save your energy, because the fun continues each evening with different educational sessions/lectures.
