YogaLean Recipe: Grapefruit & Avocado Salad
Grapefruit is high in enzymes that burn fats, has a high water content and increases your body’s metabolism. The combination of the fruit, cucumber, and lettuce, is bright and crisp, and with the addition of the avocado, you’ll have just enough healthy fat to keep your body satisfied.
What You’ll Need:
1 pink grapefruit, sliced
1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
1 avocado, cubed
1 english cucumber, cubed
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Low sodium “Seasoning Pack”
Make it YogaLean:
- In a large bowl, toss grapefruit, lettuce, avocado, cucumber, and tomatoes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk dressing ingredients.
- Toss dressing with salad.
