YogaFit Yoga Therapy Program Update

By Heidi Dix, YogaFit Yoga Therapy Program Director

The 1000 hour YogaFit Yoga Therapy Program is fully created, and WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING ADMISSION APPLICATIONS!  Click here to apply. Once you submit your application and $150 application/mentor fee, you will be assigned a mentor to help guide you through the program and answer your specific questions!

The YogaFit Yoga Therapy Program is a unique training program designed to educate current yoga teachers and health care practitioners how to empower and encourage others to reach their highest potential through yoga methodology and modern day evidence based science. The program builds upon YogaFit’s foundational 200 hour program to create an integrative system of care for clients/students with specific health conditions and various ages and abilities.  YogaFit Yoga Therapy will help us create a safe, effective and positive environment for ALL students to heal and transform.

YogaFit has officially submitted our Yoga Therapy Program application for accreditation to the International Association of Yoga Therapy!  Our Yoga Therapy program will be reviewed by the IAYT Accreditation Committee within the next few months.  All approved schools will be announced at the Symposium of Yoga Therapy and Research in June in Austin, TX.  Our 1000 hour program includes a combination of contact and non-contact hours and a 160 hour practicum.
