Restorative Pose of the Month: Savasana

To set up, provide support to your neck and under the knees. The variation shown here shows a rolled up blanket under the heels, and a bolster against the soles of the foot.  This variation is to improve circulation, and also steadies a busy mind or RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome).

 

Pranayama: Counting Breath-count the length of your inhale, then the length of the exhale. Keeping the breath seamless.

 

Visualization: Working with the unification of opposite energies to create equanimity in the body, feel open and light in the chest and through the mind space.  Feel heavy, rested from the navel down through the soles of the feet.
