1. EXCITING NEWS: The YogaFit for Warriors Intensive is happening!
Join us for our YogaFit for Warriors intensive at the beautiful Life Adventure Center in Versailles, Kentucky, March 11–25, 2018. Begin and complete your 100-hour trauma-sensitive yoga certification in a single two-week period. Or take any of the individual workshops, all of which count toward certification, to deepen your understanding of PTSD and early childhood trauma. This comprehensive program, broken out into three sessions, is designed to provide the instruction and tools you need in order to guide your clients (or students) toward greater healing.
In between each of the sessions, you’ll have opportunities to explore the local area or join in activities offered by the Life Adventure Center (lifeadventurecenter.org).
Lodging and Meals
Life Adventure Center will provide lodging and meals for $75 a day. This includes your room, linens and towels, three meals and two snacks a day—and S’Mores at night around the bonfire. If you choose to stay off-site, the Center offers a meal plan for $35 a day. To sign up for lodging and meals, click here. Any questions about the procedure or about Life Adventure Center? 2. YogaFit’s Karma Yoga Fundraiser in Atlanta
Our Master Class Fundraiser in Scottsdale was such a resounding success that we’ve decided to do it again—at our Atlanta MBF on September 21st. Lead by YogaFit’s founder, Beth Shaw, this 75-minute evening class (from 6:10pm to 7:25pm) combines YogaFit’s love for yoga and its dedication to community service.
This time we’ll be raising funds for Ahimsa House, the only nonprofit in Georgia dedicated to addressing the link between domestic violence and animal cruelty. Ahimsa House provides a host of services to help the human and animal victims of domestic violence find safety together. It serves all victims of domestic violence regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, religion or immigration status; it serves all pets regardless of species or breed.(ahimsahouses.org).
The Master Class itself is FREE and open to everyone—even those not attending the conference. So spread the word! However, we are asking for in-kind donations, gift cards for products, or cash. Click here for more information.
Thank you for helping us make a difference in the communities we serve. Any questions? Contact email@example.com. See you on the mat!
