Team YogaFit Canada Reflects on 2017
The year 2017 is already coming to an end and it passed so quickly thus the importance to appreciate every single moment of our life. I smile as I am looking back at this incredible year. First year working as part of the YogaFit Canada team and so many beautiful moments.
My best YogaFit memory was from our last MBF in Toronto. The people were simply amazing, the LEVEL FIVE training I attended was a true revelation, the lunch on Saturday was lovely. I loved discovering Toronto a bit more and its people. Took some time to walk Toronto with Suse after our Monday business meeting. We stopped by the Eaton Center and we had fun like two little kids. My words of wisdom is stay young in your heart and go for things that you LOVE, things that make you feel ALIVE. I love my YogaFit family and all our community.
The biggest lesson I learned this year is that we need to trust ourselves, no matter what. We may achieve anything by believing in ourselves and people will notice our light shining from within. I look forward to reaching out to more people and bringing the benefits of Yoga to where they are most needed. Looking forward to new challenges with YogaFit Canada as the new Social Media Coordinator. Namaste to each and every one of you, dear YogaFit Yogis.
The lesson that was brought to me in 2017, and that I am making my Intention for 2018, is to have an open heart and open mind, so that I can see the beauty in all people and situations. There is so much more that unites us than divides us, and all people, no matter where they are in their life journey, desire to be heard and valued. In a time where it is easier to label, discard, “unfriend” and tune-out those who we disagree with, I want to make kindness my first response to challenges and fear.
Wishing everyone a joyful, peaceful 2018. I am so grateful for you all!!
I am reflecting back on 2017 with gratitude and love. I am grateful for all of the opportunities that I have had to help share the true gift that yoga is. Our YogaFit community is florishing into everything that I have imagined and more. My heart is bursting with all of the love that we continue to share with each other both online in our YogaFit—Offical Group on facebook and also at our MBFs and trainings. I am going into 2018 with eagerness and excitement in my new role as Marketing and Special Projects Coordinator. We are working towards expanding our YogaFit for Warrior Ambassador Program and continuing to develop new initiatives to better serve our phenomenal #YogaFitFamily.
2017 went by like lightening! I got to do many “FIRST TIME EVER”! I went skydiving for the first time ever, I bathed an elephant for the first time ever, I rode a motorcycle for the first time ever. This year, I burst out of my comfort zone and did things that challenged me. I hope to continue doing this for next year, and just live life to the fullest.
When I sit back and look at 2017, all I can think about is how blessed I am to have met such amazing people from around the globe in my trainings and at YogaFit MBFs. A highlight for me was once again leading trainings in Australia and meeting such wonderful people down under.
Being a trainer for YogaFit Canada since the early days, I've watched as the YogaFit love has blossomed not only in Canada, but around the world thanks to the dedication and belief in the essence of YogaFit from all the wonderful people in the main office, all the trainers and apprentices, and of course all the trainees in every training. I'm truly so blessed to be part of this team and look forward to the future.
For me every year, and this year no exception, is the new friendships formed. We have such a unique and very special opportunity through our trainings to meet like minded people from all over Canada, the US and even the rest of the world. As I look back on 2017, I think of the different trainings I had the pleasure of leading, the experiences and breakthroughs we have shared together and how that all summarizes for me is by far the new friends I have made and the friendships that continue because of our YogaFit family.
