YogaFit Egg Pose Of The Month - February 2014
This deeply restorative pose is especially welcoming during the cold winter months when we find our chest and back tight after bracing against the wind. Make sure you have done a bit of a warm up before trying this pose. Starting seated, line the short edge of the eggs against the small of your back so that the highest curve of the egg rests under the mid-point of your thoracic spine. Though most people prefer 3 eggs for this pose, 2 might bring more intensity and a 4th egg under the head will release some intensity. Feel free to continue to adjust the eggs up or down so you are as comfortable as possible, either leaving the legs long or bending the knees for more support in your lower back.
