Your Teaching Philosophy
My philosophy is to create a space and container for people to facilitate their own inner transformation. Sometimes this means creating a safe place to practice poses, other times it means creating a safe place to discuss yoga philosophy and still other times it means creating a safe place to explore the inner journey beneath the surface of the external practice. It is my desire for anyone who comes to my classes or trainings to sense deep down that this is a place where they can explore the depth and width of their journey freely and without any expectations.
Favorite YogaFit Memory
I was sitting in my first Level 1 training in San Diego, CA and the trainer was leading the last session of the weekend. She was talking about how all of yoga class comes down to that last 5-10 minutes of Final Relaxation and how everything we do in class leads up to this point when we give students a few moments to simply "be" in the present moment. At that moment, I knew I had found my niche. This is my life's mission.
