YogaFit® Training Systems is proud to announce that its non-profit, Visionary Women in Fitness, will be offering scholarships to young ladies who show excellence in community service and promote these ideals in others in the community. A panel, including YogaFit® founder Beth Shaw and judges from PALA, ACE and Social Compassion, will be reviewing all submissions.
The young ladies who are awarded scholarships will also receive YogaFit® Level 1 & 2 Trainings, $200 worth of books and DVD's, and be entered to win advanced level trainings. Also, those chosen will be entered to win a role as a participant in YogaFit's® upcoming DVD and streaming video projects.
In order to apply for a scholarship for a training tuition, applicants are required to send a resume, recent headshot, and letter stating what they would do with their YogaFit® Teacher Training to help promote the growth of YogaFit®. All applications must be submitted to YogaFit® trainers or sent to stephen(at)yogafit(dot)com.
Visionary Women in Fitness is the brainchild of YogaFit® founder Beth Shaw; Nicki Anderson, president of Chicago based Reality fitness; and Diane Solomons, Ms. Fitness and Los Angeles Body Building Champion.
"This organization will raise the standards of health, fitness, and yoga mind-body awareness, to empower young women,” explains Shaw.
Visionary Women in Fitness plans to take a more active role in giving scholarships and helping women get empowered and take charge of their lives via Yoga, Fitness and Mind/Body. Plans for this non-profit organization include a Fitness Camp, Summer Program, an After School Program, and eventually a standard curriculum in the school system.comments powered by Disqus
