Plus Size Yoga
Many of the traditional and most popular yoga forms are not geared towards plus size students. Classes simply do not account for the various body types and fitness conditions of typical gym or club members. Poses can end up being painful, and courses lose their effectiveness. At YogaFit, we have created programs that allow instructors to teach plus size yoga and other classes that can benefit people who are generally ignored by standard yoga training.
After taking our Level I , II , and III courses, you will be able to develop a dynamic plus size yoga class with poses, modern fitness techniques, and progressions that can be handled by students at all levels. We focus on ease of instruction and execution, as well as safety. This means that your students can increase strength, flexibility, and mind/body connections in a fun, secure environment. We also offer YogaCore classes that can serve as effective plus size yoga programs. YogaCore, when practiced in conjunction with a healthy diet, allows students to focus on specific "problem" muscle groups. They can tone their abs, gluteals, obliques, and more. Our workshops will teach you how to help people reshape their bodies in a healthy manner, while they learn to move with confidence and heighten their mental sharpness.
