Hatha Yoga Poses
Hatha yoga poses have remained in practice since their development in 15th century India. Hatha yoga poses are designed to support relaxation and the "contemplation of one reality." When used effectively alongside proper breath control and meditation, the postures are believed to lead to superior mental and physical health, as well as vitality. Classic Hatha yoga poses such as the shooting bow posture, salutation posture, and half moon posture are still used regularly in yoga classes of all kinds. At YogaFit, we use many of the standard Hatha yoga poses as part of a yoga/fitness hybrid program. The YogaFit techniques allow you to work closely with students of all ages and conditioning levels. Our workshops will help you design and execute classes that are safe, effective, and unique. We believe that yoga is truly for everybody, and our instructors have the ability and expertise to introduce yoga to groups that are overlooked by most traditional yoga classes. We offer an array of classes that can help you move towards your AFAA, ACE, or 200 Hour Yoga Alliance certifications. We also provide workshops that can help experienced instructors develop new skills and add career-enhancing specialties to their repertoires. Along with our Level I, II, and III courses, we offer workshops for children's yoga, seniors' yoga, and prenatal yoga. We also offer YogaButt and YogaCore classes that will give you the tools to help your students focus on and tone up particular muscle groups. Instructors who study with us leave with the skills to effectively bring yoga into the everyday fitness center environment. Contact us at 1-888-786-3111 or info@yogafit.com. We can answer all your questions about the YogaFit program or the Hatha yoga poses that we draw from.
