Bio: Dr. Frame started her journey with YogaFit in 1999 when she began teaching yoga in Augusta, GA and became a Master Trainer in 2011. She is an ACE certified group fitness instructor, a 200 E-RYT, and 500 RYT through Yoga Alliance. Amanda is the author of Yoga Fit for the Heart; a training in the new Yoga Therapy program at YogaFit. She is a graduate of Georgia Regents University (formerly Medical College of GA). Her research focuses on holistic self-care and education of heart failure patients and she has published research titled Cardio-metabolic Risks in Hispanic Farm Workers: A Health Fair Model Study in the Southeastern Region. When she is not teaching yoga she works as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Yoga has provided Amanda with a solid base for her personal and professional life. Bio: I practice at two local studios, Zen & Now and Centerspace Wellness, leading beginner and advanced Vinyasa, restorative yoga, therapeutic yoga, yoga nidra and yogic philosophy classes and workshops. I spread the joy of yoga through our community with weekly classes for local Technical High School teachers and by offering open lunch-time classes and yoga classes at our local Community College. Bio: Julie has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She is currently an ACE and NASM Certified Personal Trainer She is certified through YogaFit and has completed levels 1-5 working towards her 200-hr RYT. She plans to continue with 300-hr Yoga Therapy Certification. Julie teaches a Vinyasa flow style of Yoga, which includes breath exercises and encourages movement of the body with the breath to create a synergy the body and mind love. She enjoys working with participants at all levels, and teaches her classes with many options so beginners can feel successful and safe, while also providing options for more challenging work so participants can continue to progress. The most important thing Julie likes to teach her students is how to really feel and listen to their bodies, and to help them to achieve their highest level of fitness.
