When she found her first YogaFit teacher, her body felt nourished and cared for every time she stepped on her mat. It has been said that "people who come to yoga already know" ..... perhaps not right away, but they know that there is something more than what we see on the surface. We are vast and hold infinite possibilities. For the first time, she enjoyed the feeling of REALLY being in her life instead of merely in her life situation. This led her to the discovery of many other mind-body practices and philosophies that she enjoys today such as Meditation, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Buddhist studies. Cultivating the ability to let yoga and life move through you instead of working against it is a message she embraces and shares. Practicing to let go of judgment, expectations, and competition was something that created freedom and a much better way of experiencing life (thank you YogaFit!).
